Collectible Dolls & More!

Due to many requests I have decided to start offering Doll Appraisals and Identification. Of course, identifying and appraising dolls takes a great deal of time due to the research and communications involved.

Additionally, there is absolutely no way to appraise a doll without being able to handle it. Appraisals can not be done from photographs.

Appraisals:

I do doll appraisals only on dolls that were made before 1960. There is too much variation in the value of newer dolls from month to month for an accurate appraisal to be done. A newer doll may be in demand today, worth $200, and not in demand at all next week, and worth virtually nothing. This is why I don’t appraise newer dolls.

If you want your pre-1960 doll appraised, the fee is $150.00 per doll,  plus you pay priority mail shipping plus full insurance both ways. To request this service, you must contact me first for complete instructions. Prepayment will be required and you will have to sign a waver that releases me from any responsibility for loss or damage to your doll during transit.

Identification:

Some dolls may be identifiable by photos and email communications. My minimum fee for this service is $50.00 paid in advance. If you need help identifying a doll you can email me for complete instructions and next steps.
